Do I need a referral from another doctor or provider?
No, however written referral from your primary care provider or therapist is helpful as it facilitates communication and coordination of your medical care.

What insurance do you accept?
We accept and direct bill the following insurance plans: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana, Cigna/Allegiance, Mountain Health CO-OP and PacificSource. For patients with other insurance plans, we require payment in full at the time of the visit. A comprehensive receipt is provided to the patient to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement.
How much will my care cost?
We are happy to discuss rates for our services with you and help you determine your portion of the cost for each visit. Your portion of the cost is due at each visit, payable by credit card.
What is a psychiatrist?
Psychiatrists are medical doctors/physicians who have specialized and sub-specialized in treating mental illness. Psychiatrists have completed the highest level of training, developing expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of adult, child and family mental health issues. For more information, please visit the information pages of AACAP and APA on this subject.
Do you provide psychotherapy in addition to prescribing medications?
We are not currently accepting psychotherapy-only referrals. While we are fully trained in providing evidence-based individual and family psychotherapies, we typically collaborate with psychologists and therapists by primarily providing diagnostic support and medication management.
